I was just walking along the corridors of the 400 series of Alvan Hall and this sight caught my attention.
Just look at that pattern formed with cans in the name of queue in the image below
Funny enough, this occurrence of scarcity of water in this region is gradually becoming a tradition, that is way of life.
The inmates in these areas are gradually accepting and adapting to this situation in that they now go outside the school to fetch water and some head to jimbazz and others to staff quarters, in search of this precious natural gift, then the weak at heart come to school unbathed and smelling yesterday-yesterday, lol. This has also got me thinking if the current administration has made things better or worse.
Wifi is now user restricted i.e requires a personally generated password in other to access the web but then almost totally redundant.
We have also received reports, unconfirmed though, that the hotspot is now N6000 worth and no
more unlimited.
Hence once you exhaust it, you wait till next session I guess.
Now that if true, do not sound good
Post graduate students just had their fees increased plus got evicted from the hostel after protests.
So many other stuff not to be mentioned.
Something is wrong. For real.
this is what fetching water looks like currently in franco halls.
